Super cool to meet Jeff Phillips three times although my friends the Abrooks got really close with him.
Sadly Jeff Phillips shot and killed himself on Christmas day 1993.
People say his skatepark wasn't doin too well and he had relationship problems.
Jeff Phillips beat Tony Hawk to win a major contest while he was off his head on acid.
Insanely powerful, creative and awesome skateboarder.

He's a very - very nice man

The "nice" chap from the AA came out to collect me when I failed to tighten my hard to reach oil tank bolts last year.
Oops! the lube bag fell off and I dragged it down the road at 70mph by the oil lines.
These bikes are not straight out of a factory they need to be shaken down and tightened up.

The lesson I learned that day is; Ride, Wrench, Repeat and Wrench again!

love the scalloped tank. Kalamity Scott is a real good fabricator

NEW PIPES AND FENDER

News is that my cocktail shakers are on and being wrapped in pale heat tape . The twin rib fender is fixed and clearing the rear tyre just nice ( that will be Nickel plated when i get it back.)
Just waiting on the new front wheel with the chopper mini drum brake.
Stoked on how it is looking.
Can't wait to ride the shit out of it!
