Wearing leathers and a full face helmet and going over 40 mph.
I was in the annual UK championships at Bude for 5 years 2002-2006.
I crashed as much as I finished in the top ten.
One year I was reaching for the line and the second place guy
fell onto me and rugby tackled my legs.
I was disqualified for crossing the finish line in mid air?
2006 I hit the fence at 45mph.
It was real painful and I never raced again after that.
